Tours require a minimum number of guests, as well as safe weather and river conditions, to proceed. As this is a Merimbula Lake experience, it will not run if the estuary is closed for harvest. If we can’t serve from our lease, we’ll offer you a refund, credit, or the option to reschedule.
Guests will wade through tidal water up to waist height and walk on uneven surfaces. All participants must be independently mobile to board and disembark the vessel and move around the lease. Chest waders are supplied; please provide your US shoe size at booking. (Broader builds may require a size or two up — for example, shoe size 12 ≈ 135 cm hips.) Guests must follow all guide instructions and refrain from touching farm equipment.
Consumption of raw shellfish carries a risk of severe allergic reaction. Guests with known or suspected shellfish allergies must not participate. We recommend avoiding raw oysters if you are pregnant or may be pregnant. While unlikely, water-based activities carry a risk of drowning; by joining, you confirm that you are fit to participate and accept this risk.
Tours are suitable for guests aged 12 years and older (adult rate applies). Due to safety requirements, we are unable to accommodate children under 12.
